Okay I'm gonna make a point of writing a longish paragraph here so that it happens,
but I've noticed that all of my posts have these wacky line breaks that cause my posts
to read like someone is stuttering. Long line length, then two words then long line
then two words etc.
Do I have to manually keep pushing the carriage return button at some predetermined
spot or something? I'm totally tired of trying to read my own posts. Thanks in
advance you yahoo gurus for helping me make this stop. And if it doesn't happen in
this post then please look at one of my previous posts and tell me what the heck I
might have done differently!

I do insert carriage returns as a work around for the
problem. I post to the group at the online site and not
via email. I don't know if that can make a difference.

Assuming that posting from the website is where the
problem originates, have you checked the "wrap around
text" box under the message box? If you have, have
you tried unchecking it? Do you have the same problem
no matter whether that box is checked or not?

It's not you Werewulf. To escape your torture, expand the messages to
read them (on Yahoo) and most of the problem should go away. The
lines break and read funny when they fit around the advertisements.

Having the box check or unchecked doesn't seem to
any any effect on the wrapping problem.

I always have the same issue with my posts and it drives me nuts! I have posted both
via email, using a PDA and online on my desktop computer. Unchecking the wrap
message box makes not a bit of difference. In fact, it makes the formatting even
worse.
I have no idea where one would have to insert a carriage return in order to have the
text appear formatted correctly. The size of the danged ads always changes. Any
suggestions for this workaround? Funhog

Well I'm glad to hear that it's not just me. Obviously it must not bother me as much
when I read OTHER people's posts since I'd never noticed it happening to anyone else.
I'll try to make a real point in the future to put in manual carriage returns, but for this
one I just HAVE to try unchecking that line wrap box that I'd never actually noticed
before.
Thanks all and howls,

If you stretch the window that you are reading the post in so that it
is longer, it will get better. It won't take it away entirely. It will still
probably have some breaks (I assume where your line breaks
were in your email), but I've found that it is often my own
computer and when I change the length of the window I'm
viewing it in, it gets better.
